Trail Ride Descriptions and Rates
1 Hour Buckaroo Ride
On this scenic loop ride we can see the surrounding peaks as far as Toms Thumb, Four Peaks, and Weavers Needle in the Superstition Mountains. This ride also has some very unique rock formations that are only seen in the part of the valley of Phoenix. This ride is great for more nervous riders and younger children. All rides are private to your party.
Rate: $100 per person
2 Hour Cowpoke Ride
On this ride we explore the Cowpoke trail. We gain some elevation to the beautiful overlook, here we have some of the best views of the surrounding peaks. On the way back we ride at the base of Granite Mountain through a forest of saguaros. This ride is great for beginner to advanced riders. All rides are private to your party.

3 Hour Wild West Ride
***Personal Favorite***
During this loop ride we travel in a wash up through Coyote Canyon to our famous crested saguaro in the Sonoran Preserve. Then gaining slight elevation to our nice overlook spot that gives you amazing views across the valley. This ride is about 3 hours long and is recommended for intermediate to experienced riders due to the long time in the saddle. All rides are private to your party.

3 hour Granite Mountain Ride
During this ride we travel roughly 6 miles around Granite Moutain in the Sonoran Preserve. On this ride we see two distinct types of desert, a hot dry desert, and a semi-arid desert full of vegetation and life. Along the trail we will stop at our scenic overlook that gives you amazing views on the surrounding valley and peaks. We recommend this trail for intermediate to experienced riders due to the long time in the saddle. All rides are private to your party.

Sunset Rides
Arizona sunsets are breathtaking, there is no doubt about that. The colors in the Sonoran Desert are only offered one time during the day during golden hour. Our sunset rides are private and personable. This ride is roughly 1.5 hours long, this way anyone and everyone may see these unbelievable colors at the quietest time of the day. All rides are private to your party.

Do you have your own horse?
Our goal is to help you and your horse build confidence out on the trail. We offer a special rate for our guests that bring their own horses for the trail rides. We are flexible and aim to accommodate your needs, whatever the circumstance may be. All rides with our horses are guided by one of our wranglers to ensure the ride stays safe.
Important Info You'll Need to Know:

We are located at the Granite Mountain Trailhead in the Sonoran Preserve in Scottsdale, Arizona. We are a mobile business and trailer our horses in for scheduled rides everyday except Sundays.

Reservations are required as all of our rides are private to your party. Please arrive 15 minutes before your ride to get checked in and meet and greet with your horse.

The max accommodations is 10 riders per private party.

Children MUST be 6 years old or older to ride. We do not allow double riding. Helmets are provided for all riders, children 6-14 are required to wear riding helmets. Minors must be accompanied by adult or legal guardian.

Our weight limits; under 5'5" 170lb, 5'6"-5'8" 200lb, 5'9"-5'11" 230lb and 6"+ 250lb. We do require guests height/weights and riding experience when booking. Anyone over these weights will be putting the horses and themselves at risk.

Cancellation policy: Guests are eligible for a full refund 72 hours in advance before their scheduled ride. If it is within the 72 hours of the scheduled ride, guests can receive a gift certificate valid for one year after booking date. Guests that cancel within 24 hours of their ride will not receive a refund.

Water and trail mix are provided on all of our rides. If anyone has a peanut allergy please let us know in advance. Other personal belongings such as a jacket, camera, sunglasses, etc. and can be stored in the saddle bags on your horse. Backpacks are not allowed.

Guests must wear proper riding attire, such as closed toed shoes and long pants. We also recommend bringing a jackets, hat, and sunglasses. If rain is forecasted, please bring a rain jacket.

Gratuity for your wrangler is great appreciated. An average tip is 20%. Guests with reservations of 7 or more will be charged a 20% gratuity.
